Students and staff dressed up in the theme 'Spots and Stripes' on Friday to raise money for Children in Need.
In the lead up to Children in Need our Student Council panel got together with tutor groups to come up with ideas about how ICC could raise money for this worthy cause. During break and lunchtime, students arranged the following activities:
Cake sale
Face painting and tattoos
Guess sweets in a jar
Name the teddy
Bush tucker trials
and many other activities.
Unfortunately due to staff illnesses the 'gunging' of 2 members of staff has been postponed until Comic Relief Day.
A fun day was had by all. A huge thank you to the Student Council, and everyone involved in making this a fantastic and memorable day.
The total figure so far raised, an impressive £1163.31 - Well done. The collection will be divided between children in Need and Miss Quine's charity, helping children in Tanzania.
